I’ve posted this video before i believe. But Death Cab has had me entranced the last few days, So I cant help but post it :D
I woke up early today, went to breakfast, went running with Sierra, Did Yoga, Took a long shower, Went to church, Went to the Museum of Evolution with Liz, and have been doing homework, and updating all of my networking such things since :D
(GAH! taxidermied Hippo = SCARY!)
So, I’ve lived in San Diego, and Studied Art in Paris with nude models.. yet what has turned me into a hippy finally? Yoga. Seriously, I’m addicted to it, i do it constantly now that i know most of the poses. I do it pre and post runs now, I do it during painting when my arm gets cramped, I do it before i go to bed so that I can relax myself and fall asleep, and I do it when I wake up to get my blood flowing. Pigeon pose is my favorite because it stretches out my hips. :D
My seriously, its making me more flexible then any Vincent has ever thought about being.. and on top of that walking and running is giving me killer calves, like better than Marching Band Calves… yeah… That good. (mmmhmm. nerdism is just spilling all over this page)
Anyway, besides turning into a croissant loving hippy what have I been doing? Well I’m so glad you asked!
Well this Thursday we went to the Rodin museum. I've said it probably like 6 times since, but I have NEVER felt emotion in sculpture before. I don't know why, if its because of the focus on form or what. But seriously, Rodin’s work is AMAZING. I nearly cried at a couple pieces. Especially “The Kiss”. Who is Rodin? Well you might recognize this….
Yes sir. The thinker :D
And what was my favorite part of the day? Discovering that THE THINKER IS DANTE! Blahhh literary references make my life happy! (Nerd ramble continues)
Ok so “The Thinker” was originally on the “Gates of Hell.”
See him up there? Dante is pictured at the top of the gates of hell Pondering all that he see’s. Makes sense doesn’t it? Yeah I was pretty stoked.
Anyway, here are some of the other awesome works we saw.
As sad as it is to report, my migraines have returned.. :( Which has taken the edge off of my adventurousness because I cant seem to shake them. As I mentioned before though, I’ve picked up my exercise routine again (Thank you Mema) And that’s helping a little.
But basically I’ve had to improvise a little bit, this weekend for instance, no one felt much like braving the cold (yes its still 40ish here… ugh) to go out, so instead, I threw a party in my room. What did this include you ask? Well I built a fort. Yes a full on fort in my room.
It even has doors, Sierra and I are the coolest roommates ever. No joke.
Yep hooked to my clothes line. :D
They loved it. Hahaha.
Then the second stage of the party was me turning the shower all the way hot, and everyone getting into their swim suits and having a sauna party. It was ridiculously fun actually. Ok, Evan and I were the only ones cool enough to ACTUALLY go through with it, but the next night we added to 4 more people, so I swear the idea is becoming more and more appealing. :D
So here is more pictures from the weekend, and weekends past as well I suppose. But I'm going to post a few so I can explain…
No. I'm not trying to kiss Liz. It was a game gone horribly wrong.. but seriously.. the laughter that ensued here?
Hilarious.

Very nice light drawing skillz sir.
So basically to explain the photos in the album, we went to a park, had family night in the room (The black and white ones) Went to an Indian restaurant where we were sort of given free hookah… long story… but then we took wicked sweet pictures blowing out the smoke…
Oh and now the deal is that everyone steals my camera, and I end up with all the pictures… which is actually ok with me, cause then I can delete all the ones of me that I don’t like. :D
I love being here.
Ignore the dumb title. Its an awesome song.
LOVE YOU ALL!
