So Drew and I decided to go to Normandy… Completely on a spontaneous desire. We took a 2 hour train ride there. Got some lunch, wandered around, took a taxi to the bunkers, came back to town, went to the British cemetery, got coffee and took the train home.
Seems like it could have been a tourist day right?
Except for the mastery of the senses.
Drew and I didn't really talk at all while we were there, we just tried to capture what we were seeing through photo’s. It was seriously one of the coolest things I've ever done.
Its hard to describe the feeling of being there, but I took about 300 pictures. They are all on my photo site on the blog below. But I uploaded some of my favorites here. Its a good mixture of the pure art and emotion I tried to capture, along with some more touristy photos, and a photo booth shoot at the end.
If this doesn’t make a statement. I’m not sure what would. Thanks high contrast jacket lady.
